So the other day I stubbed my baby toe, and it hurt so bad. Mr. MT went to the refrigerator and came back with something in his hand. He wrapped a cold packet of taco sauce around my baby toe! Normally I get so cold from ice packs, this was perfect because it put the cold right where it needed to be. Talk about a unique reuse.
Mr. MT is a genius!

Don’t you love it when our guys are brilliant in thrifty ways?! I still need to write a post about Tim’s magic cat condo.
Essentially we realized that if we could see her, she was going to freak the hell out. When that happens it seriously sounds like someone recorded a cat in heat on a synthesizer and then replayed it by playing the keys. Seriously. Everyone laughs when I say that, thinking it’s hyperbole. Then they hear her freak out and look at me wide-eyed.
So Tim cut a small square out of one side of a box, put it upside down in the opening for one of our endtables and voila — free cat condo!
